Ruto dismisses Gachagua's Mt Kenya votes claim

JEFF: President William Ruto has told off his former Deputy Rigathi Gachagua over his claims that he secured him the Mt Kenya votes. OLIVE: Speaking in Embu County, President Ruto said he campaigned and convinced voters to vote for him, adding that he will return to the Mt Kenya region to traverse all its counties and seek re-election based on his track record. JEFF: And as Stephen Letoo reports, the President has put opposition leaders on notice, accusing them of dividing the country along ethnic lines.
