Stacey's Mom (vocals)/Fountains of Wayne bass by Cara Fun song easy to play and sing for a change! Since last night's song was about girl-girl romance how about some multi-generational boy-mom love? I was reading Chriscollingwood moaning about how it was sad most people would remember the late Adam Schlesinger for Stacy's Mom instead of all the great other songs he wrote. It really gets on my nerves when bands whinge about being known for a hit they are embarassed by. Millions would give ANYTHING to have had a hit, it's probably the reason most people have even heard of FOW and lastly, I'm a huge FOW fan, but I fail to see where this song is somehow inferior to the other lightweight stuff he wrote. I mean he wasn't exactly Paul McCartney (or even Steve Perry, as they mention in Road Song) this was about as good as his songs got, IMHO. So stop it Chris.
