In 2013, he studied abroad at the University of British Columbia in Canada. He continued to serve as the president of Ladies Clinic in 2019. He participated as a medical doctor in the swimming events at the Tokyo Olympic Games. He participated as a doctor volunteer in the swimming events at the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games.
