Welcome to the fifth episode of Talking Prisoner. Hosts Ken Mulholland and Matt Batten sat down and spoke with the amazing Louise Siversen. We spoke to Louise about her life growing up and how her parents were pushing for Louise to be a Lawyer and not an actress. Louise’s love for theatre and acting and how she got the part of Lou Kelly, one of Wentworth’s most violent inmates, we spoke about what it was like to play Lou and the intense scenes that she had to shoot and one storyline that she did not agree with, we also spoke about the famous Lou Kelly riot and how she felt when she pulled the chair out from the phantom lager Eve Wilder. Louise also spoke with us about what it was like to work with the late great Maurie Fields, Peter Adams, Gerda Nicolson, Joy Westmore and Anne Phelan, and her close friendship with Lois Collinder who played Lou’s sidekick Alice “Lurch” Jenkins.
