Texas Star Sweet Sixteen DX1600X - They definitely pack a punch.
The Texas Star Sweet Sixteen Dx1600X amplifier, its quite a famous amp and definitely very collectible. Just a quick video on its operation into a dummy load on 28.300, whilst these were a CB amplifier, I was interested to check its performance on the 26/27/28/29 Mhz bands on dummy load and apart from a small input issue, it seemed to be broadband enough and more importantly clean over the 4 mhz on the Anritsu spectrum analyser. cheers brenton vk3cm jdw229 pls subscribe and also feel free to join us on Facebook at Aussie Radio Pickers or vk ham sales and service anytime.
