Cloth on a Character Rig: Namid by Jess Wrubel

Namid is a character that I rigged for the University of Central Florida production "Dreamweaver." Early during character design, we established that our character needed to wear a dress. We had the tools, and decided that we wanted to use Maya nCloth. I spent a lot of time researching and testing before I came up with a method of attaching the cloth to a character rig. This video represents just a fraction of the time that I spent on this project. I had a ton of fun learning about cloth, and look forward to getting better at using it in the future! To find out more about Dreamweaver, visit the film's Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/dreamweaverf... All of the cloth that we applied to the film would not have been possible without the help of two of my classmates: Samantha Sokolis and Kelly Herbut.
