Focus mentorée Programme +E 2026 - Candrani Yulis

Born in Yogyakarta in 1996, Candrani Yulis is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice combines installation, video and image. Drawing on personal experience, she explores the relationships between memory, identity and social norms, questioning the place of women within contemporary Indonesian society. Over the past several months, Candrani has been working alongside curator and art historian Farah Wardani as part of the +E Program, developing a new body of work that will be presented at the 18th Lyon Biennale this September.
