Between shore hunting and layout hunting, the length of line we need on the weights varies. In addition, holding the cast weights to wrap up the line without gloves is extremely cold and wet, so if we can avoid this, why not?? Using an electrical cord reel is the answer to this for the weight extensions, and having the sash weights with their own carabiners is a great idea for the amount of shore hunting we do.
