This video shares an initial user experience with push support (Sunrise Medical empulse R20) on a tilting Ibis push wheelchair. This push support was requested from the supplier with support from the Social Support Act (WMO) because several of Annie's caregivers/supporters had difficulty pushing the wheelchair due to physical or physical challenges. Because Annie has always been an outdoors person and greatly enjoys being outdoors and exploring together, the push support is a solution for both parties during outings and distances that require longer pushing. Thanks to this smart aid, she can still participate in social life and outdoor activities. Annie can now go to the woods and the market she enjoys visiting weekly. Thanks to the push support, pushing is no longer necessary, and the support person needs to focus primarily on steering and maneuvering. According to the supplier (Sunrise Medical), the range is 15 km/h with a maximum speed of 5 km/h. The thumb controls aren't (yet?) entirely user-friendly for the caregiver, and it requires some skill and proper instruction.
