Abandoned Cottage in the Middle of Nowhere - Who Lived Here and Where Did They Go?

The Volvo House Hidden away in the woods of Ontario we find this long abandoned cottage. It was a very small building with only one bedroom and only about 4-5 rooms total! Judging from some of the dates that I found within, the cottage had been abandoned for over a decade, with the most recent date being from 2011. The owners appear to have just walked away one day, never to return...there were a few buckets found throughout the home to catch water, so maybe they did try to maintain it for at least a little while. With so much left behind, you really do have to wonder what happened to them? There were kids toys, the fridge was still full of expired food and they even left an old 1980s?
