RAYS POSTCAST: The Tampa Bay Rays offense TAKES A STEP BACK vs the Toronto Blue Jays

The Rays drop the last game of the series to the Blue Jays 3-1. For the 2nd straight game the Rays gave up a run in the 1st inning. The Blue Jays hit a 2 out RBI single to take a 1-0 lead. The Rays would answer back in the 3rd inning on a Yandy Diaz RBI single to make it 1-1. That would be the only run the Rays offense would muster today. After 3 strong performances the offense only managed 3 hits and the lone run in the 3rd inning. The Blue Jays would take the lead in the bottom of the 3rd to make it 2-1. They got a big insurance run in the 7th inning to make it 3-1. Ian Seymour pitched the bulk innings for the Rays and was very solid.
