It's all a matter of taste; I prefer living off base, but that decision will be up to you. Remember that to live off base, you need to have dependents or at least be an E4 (Air Force). I took the ASVAB in February 2015 and scored an 86 on the AFQT (NO PROFICIENCY IN ENGLISH). After several months of searching for information on each branch, I decided the US Air Force was the best one that aligned with my interests and goals. I signed with the US Air Force and went to Basic Military Training on March 1, 2016. After going through the entire process, I decided I wanted to help others get in and be well-informed. Even though I researched a lot of information before entering, I realized there were many things no one told me and that I wish I had known before the whole process. That's why I do what I do today.
