This is when my addiction started and began to transition from motorcycles to cars. Enter the B7 RS4, produced only from 2007-2008, I had never seen anything like it. Not only was it Audi’s first entry into more serious performance V8’s in North American markets, but it was the first time the brand caught my eye... It produces 450 Hp with 318 lb ft of torque. Not only does it deliver a linear power band that’s perfect for high-speed cornering, but the engine revs to 8,250 RPM!!! Quattro all-wheel drive. The B8.5 RS5 has the premium crown gear center differential with permanent all-wheel drive. On top of the exceptional grip, the differential on the RS5 has a 60/40 split, sending more power to the rear wheels. Dual clutch 7 speed s-tronic gearbox. Rapid shifts are amazing, you can upshift or downshift as fast as you can pull the paddles, and it will not interfere with redline upshifts... READ FULL HERE https://whybuyglb.com/project/144/why... Favourite thing I considered several cars over the past few years. Hunting for a special V8 within this price bracket is not easy, and I looked at the C63 AMG, the E92 M3, Jaguar F-type R, Lexus IS-F, even the 5 litre mustang. Ultimately, there is nothing quite like the RS5. It simply has all the great qualities you would want in a daily performance car. The RS5 is a one of a kind vehicle with an amazing V8 engine, fantastic drivetrain, and overall build quality that makes you feel satisfied and happy each and every time you drive. Buyer recommendations Regarding carbon build up in the 4.2 V8 engine, With direct injection, carbon build up tends to happen on the intake and back of the valves. The B7 RS4 4.2 had a bad tendency to build up and cause performance loss, but the new 4.2 in the rs5 is supposedly better engineered to compensate for this. Still, without port injection washing the valves with clean fuel, carbon build up is still going to happen with excess oil vapors being recycled. Budget doing a carbon clean ($1,000) every 80,000 km’s If you can get Platinum Audi Care that warranties nearly everything on the car. Only major issues I have read about with the RS5 seems to be small coolant leaks, which overall, makes this a rock-solid car to buy used. ECS x-pipe is the only exhaust modification you need for the RS5. No drone, easy to install, and high quality 304 stainless steel. Plus, you can always put your old resonator back in if you decide. The ECS distributor to use in Canada is Euro Sport Tuning. The shop I went to in Edmonton is Atlas Auto. READ FULL HERE with links to other related content! https://whybuyglb.com/project/144/why...
