It’s the video we’ve all been waiting for… With the extreme heat finally easing and a welcome breeze in the air, the day has finally arrived to begin building Petra’s Promise. Thanks to the incredible help of family and friends, we finally see Petra’s stables start to take shape, and it’s an emotional milestone we’ll never forget. Greg, our farrier, works his magic once again as he continues Dorothy May’s specialist hoof care, and we catch up with Tiny Tim to see how he’s getting on. Morgan, our wonderful vet, also visits to carry out Dorothy May’s long-awaited pregnancy test, along with further treatment to help her continue her recovery after everything she’s endured through years of neglect. The soaring temperatures also give us a frightening moment when Thomas struggles in the heat, but thankfully help arrives just in time with something that makes a world of difference… his very biggest fan!
