Make It Easy, Don't Make It Difficult
Mawlana Sheikh Mehmed Adil shares a vital teaching from the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Make things easy, and do not make them difficult." In this sohbet, Mawlana explains why we should not overburden ourselves or others in our spiritual practice. He warns against the whispers (waswasa) that our worship isn't accepted and clarifies that even small, sincere acts are valued by Allah. Using the example of Grandshaykh Nazim Adil al-Haqqani, Mawlana teaches that the true path is one of ease and encouragement, not hardship, guiding people gently towards Allah's love.
