Toyota Corolla - No Crank No Start - Starter Replacement (Near real time) Test, Confirm, Replace.

2006 Corolla No-Start Getting ready to head out... Hop in the car and.... &%$#! Starter isn't working! Fortunately for me, when this starter was replaced three years ago, it came with a LIFETIME warranty, Took a walk to the part store and got it's replacement. This video shows the entire process of verifying the starter is at fault, confirming it, and replacing it. Bringing the faulty starter back for the refund on the failed unit was a HORRIBLE experience! "Toby" seemed to be in charge, but obviously had no clue what a LIFETIME WARRANTY means! He REFUSED to give me a refund, insisting that the starter only came with a 45 DAY warranty, even though I still had the original receipt! He was only willing to give me the $22 core charge. This was the second time I've had an unpleasant experience with this one employee. The first time was over wanting to PURCHASE a Master Puller Kit (loan-a-tool) to keep, and wanted a NEW and COMPLETE kit. He basically told me it "wasn't going to happen". Now, while the company cannot guarantee a new kit, the attitude I got when I asked him how he gets his replacements when a customer does NOT bring it back, was inexcusable! The language got quite colorful, when I told him his negative attitude was going to cost him his job. I told him I had no intention of dealing with his nonsense and left. After an interesting conversation with an associate at the company hotline, we agreed that I would be taking this back to a different store. They are also looking forward to this video! (so I say anything bad... ;) ) LIFETIME WARRANTY means that you are entitled to ONE FREE replacement, to the ORIGINAL PURCHASER, for the ORIGINAL VEHICLE, for the LIFETIME of that vehicle! The replacement, in this case, is warrantied for 90 days. (Terms MAY vary) "You've got no more excuses...
