Visiting Bernal: A Mexican Pueblo Mágico

There are numerous Pueblos Mágicos in the central part of Mexico. That's an official designation, signifying that those towns and villages represent centers of cultural heritage. During my time in Mexico, I made my way to Bernal, which is a Pueblo Mágico that is famous for the natural monolith that looms over the village. I climbed the Peña de Bernal, ate numerous blue corn gorditas and walked the charming streets during a 24 hour visit. It was a magical experience! Music provided by Epidemic Sound. Having retired in 2023, I now travel full-time, seeing places all around the world. My idea for YouTube is to make the videos more about the places and people along the way, than about me. I hope that the experience for you is both entertaining and educational. Perhaps you will come away from my channel with ideas about places you would like to visit or be inspired to forge your own way. I travel slowly, spending four or five weeks in each destination. Hopefully, that will allow me to go beyond the surface to find the essence of each location. By the end of 2024, I will have visited 14 countries and five of the seven continents.
