A scary aborted landing! ... My AirAsia flight to Kuching Sarawak & snippets of military aircraft

What's up everyone! ✈️ This will be the first a series of videos documenting a visit to my hometown of Kuching. This beautiful city is the capital city for the state of Sarawak on the island of Borneo. For this video, I will be sharing my flight from Singapore Changi international airport to Kuching international airport. This is a relatively short one and a half hour flight on an Air Asia Airbus A320. It was a pretty long taxi out to the runway when we departed from Singapore. We had to use the eastern most runway and during the very very long taxi, you will see several aircraft, including a couple from the Singapore Air Force! Hope you will find that interesting! 😝 There was a major storm over the airport when we began our approach for landing and I was able to capture a rare aborted landing! This is not the first time I experienced this but it is the first time I managed to record it on video. It was pretty exciting to hear the pilots push the engines to full throttle as they struggle to fight the strong winds and gain altitude. You can hear gasps of surprise from the passengers around me when that happened! I also managed to record the Captain's announcement on the aborted landing and his intention to go around for another attempt. Thankfully the second landing was successful! 👍🏻👏🏻🤗 My thanks to all my viewers and subscribers for taking the time to watch this video and support the channel.
