Marc Bolan was one of the major glam rock figures of the early '70s and at the height of his career, was as big as The Beatles and bigger than Bowie. He was a flamboyant entertainer and extraordinary performer for his millions of adoring fans. 'Ride On' takes you on a journey from his struggles on the back streets of North London, to his success achieving international recognition. The programme also features many of Bolan's famous hits, including "Get it On" and "Ride A White Swan" and shows the in-depth story of Marc Bolan and his rise to success. Rolan Bolan, Marc's son, authorized the programme which is packed with never before seen footage of Bolans' performances and exclusive interviews with his friends and long-time lover Gloria Jones.
