3D printing metal with the Markforged Metal X
Jon Reilly, VP product development, describes the Markforged metal desktop extrusion-based additive manufacturing system and how it works for a range of products, including fixtures and tooling. Metal additive manufacturing has a few challenges that make it difficult to do safely in an office environment. Markfored uses a system of binders and metal powders, which improves the safety of these systems. The Markeforged system can work with stainless steels, Inconel, titanium, copper and aluminum materials.
