On July 17, 2025, deputies responded to a call about a woman slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle in the parking lot of a local restaurant. Staff directed deputies to the car, where the driver appeared impaired and refused multiple requests to provide identification. After repeated warnings, deputies attempted to remove the driver from the vehicle. She resisted efforts to exit, leading to her arrest for obstruction. At the inmate facility, she declined to perform field sobriety exercises and refused a breath test, resulting in a DUI charge.
