Kinderklinikkonzert mit Max Giesinger und Nico Santos | Osnabrück 2021

On October 2, 2021, Max Giesinger and Nico Santos performed at our 24th Children's Hospital Concert. It took place at the Osnabrück Children's Hospital. After a two-year hiatus, the Children's Hospital Concerts were able to resume under strict hygiene protocols. Videographer Calvin Müller spent the day with the team of the Children's Hospital Concerts Association. The Children's Hospital Concert in Osnabrück was financially supported by the German Foundation for Civic Engagement and Volunteering. __________________ About the Children's Hospital Concerts Association: A young girl suffered a serious fall while playing on her bicycle. Emergency medical services were called, an ambulance arrived, operations were performed, and a long hospital stay ensued. This, in a sense, is the beginning of the Children's Hospital Concerts. In 2010, Nicole John, a paramedic by profession, was called to this scene. Moved by the plight of the seriously injured girl and wondering what would best help her during a long hospital stay, she and her friend and project manager, Nadja Benndorf, founded the Children's Hospital Concerts in 2011. What began as a small idea has since grown into an established, award-winning organization that has helped thousands of patients aged 3 to 17. During a difficult time, the two women, along with their team of mostly volunteers, bring smiles to the faces of young patients and create lasting, positive memories.
