Criss Canning is widely regarded as one of Australia’s finest painters, having built a distinguished career in fine art spanning more than four decades. Her richly-composed paintings feature flowers, glassware, textiles, and native plants from her life at Lambley – the 1860s farmhouse and celebrated nursery she shares with her husband in Victoria. Canning’s work is held in major public collections including the National Gallery of Australia and the Art Gallery of New South Wales, and in private collections in the United States, Canada, Europe and beyond.
