The police team has not disclosed the perpetrator's identity, as it will be revealed directly in a press release from the South Sumatra Regional Police Chief and the Palembang City Police Chief. AP was previously found dead in a horrific condition at a hotel in Palembang. She was found lying on the floor, half-naked. Several wounds were found on the victim's body, and her mouth was gagged with clothing and her hands were tied with the last hijab she was wearing. Based on initial information, the victim was first discovered by hotel staff when they were checking on her at around 2:00 p.m. WIB. According to a hotel employee named Ernawati, AP arrived at the hotel with a man on Friday (October 10th) at approximately 4:00 PM WIB. However, the man's identity was not recorded by witnesses. Meanwhile, according to the victim's father, Agus Nasi (56), AP had said goodbye to take her husband to work. However, after waiting for some time, the victim never returned home. Agus admitted that AP had never mentioned any problems, so he could not suspect the perpetrator of his daughter's murder.
