Liverpool, England. 2x Schindler Escalator ride at Moorfields Merseyrail station between both lines

We take a POV ride on 2x Schindler escalators at Moorfields Merseyrail Station in Liverpool. These are made in 2016 and the heavy duty type 9700 AE and they run alright. However, they have their problems and there is another taller set further on in this station that are totally broken and when I asked, staff said they’d probably be broken another 6 months! I was shocked that they’d had these issuses when so new and also why they couldnt be repaired quickly. They had actually employed a couple of agency staff to direct people to lifts etc and make sure they didn’t fall down if trying to walk with heavy bags… Enjoy! If you do, please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE. Thanks! 😎 **These are a ‘middle set’ here in that they go between the already underground Northern Line down to a tunnel link to the much deeper Wirral Line. That’s where the broken set of escalators lead to at the other end of the tunnel… Above these however are some stairs upto a link to the exit. That exit still has the original 1970s Otis escalators that run much better than these (they are a set I already uploaded). It’s a shame these ones were replaced…
