Recreating history!! Line shaft workshop prt 1…

n this video I’m starting the build of my steam-powered line shaft workshop — a proper old-school setup where steam power will eventually drive belts, pulleys, and machinery just like workshops used to run years ago. This is the beginning of the project, so I’ll be planning the layout, looking at where the line shaft will go, and starting to figure out how the power will be transferred from the steam engine to the workshop machines. There’s a lot to think about, from mounting brackets and pulleys to belts, alignment, safety, and making the whole setup practical to use. It’s going to be a long-term build, but this first stage is all about getting started and bringing the idea to life.
