Floyd Rose | Fat Brass L Block Upgrade | RESULT IS NOT WHAT YOU'D EXPECT

I installed a Fat Brass L sustain block in my MIJ Charvel. And the result in not what I expected. The feel in your hands improved, the weight balance is perfect, the Floyd Rose system operates smoother. But most of all - the guitar sounds fatter, louder and more resonant purely acoustically. Next time I will probably go for a normal shape and not the L Shaped one. While installing I had to take a little bit of the wood - there was a lip on the side of the springs that prevented the Floyd to have a bit of an backward movement. This is a top mounted Floyd so a little bit of space could allow bigger "flutter" effects, but mostly - more space for different setups.
