A Closer Look: Mitochondrial Disease

This Western Reserve Public Media production discusses mitochondrial disease, which results from failure of mitochondria — the power producers of a body’s cells. Akron Children’s Hospital professionals offer background information and two Ohio families share their stories about loved ones who had the disease.
