🇬🇧 The first Italian subway to be characterized by automatic driving, it is also the first, and to date only, infrastructure of this kind in Italy to use VAL-type trains. Inaugurated on 4 February 2006 on the occasion of the 20th Winter Olympics in the former Savoyard capital, it is similar to the subways of the French cities of Lille, Toulouse and Rennes. It is managed by the Torinese Transport Group, the concessionaire company for all local public transport services in the Piedmontese capital. Number of stations: 23 Total length: 15,1 km.
