Classic TV Theme: Charmed (two versions • Full Stereo)

An Aaron Spelling production, this 1998 fantasy series ran for eight seasons on The WB. Three sisters are good witches protecting humanity from demons and the like. Holly Marie Combs, Alyssa Milano, and Shannen Doherty were the original trio; after three seasons Doherty was killed off and Rose McGowan turned up as a half-sister. TV Guide put the show on one of its innumerable lists ('60 Greatest Sci-Fi Shows of All Time'). A reboot appeared on The CW in 2018 and is now in its fourth and final year. But back to the original: all eight seasons opened with 'Now Soon Is Now?', a song by Morrisey and Johnny Marr, popularized by Morrisey's band The Smiths. The show used a cover version by Love Spit Love. 00:00 Opening credits, season one. 00:52 End credits, season one.
