In today's vlog (Day 3), we begin our journey from Haridwar to Barkot, the gateway to Yamunotri Dham. Before starting the Char Dham Yatra, we took blessings at the famous Satyanarayan Dev Mandir, considered the first temple to visit before beginning the sacred journey in Uttarakhand. Our journey then took us through winding mountain roads, lush green valleys, beautiful mango farms, tea breaks, Maggi, samosas and some breathtaking viewpoints. After nearly 10 hours of travelling through the Himalayas, we finally reached our peaceful stay in Barkot surrounded by mesmerizing mountain views. The evening became even more special as we enjoyed cycling, played cricket, had a delicious dinner and celebrated Vikas' father's birthday.
