“RALPH CARMICHAEL BIG BAND GOSPEL” Homecoming Concert - Vanguard University 1997
“The Ralph Carmichael Big Band Gospel” Homecoming Concert (the complete concert) was held on Feb. 22, 1997, at Southern California College (formerly Southern California Bible College, now Vanguard University). It was Ralph’s 50th Alumni Anniversary year (Class of ’47). In addition to Ralph and his Big Band, the concert featured Dave Boyer with special guests Steve Ragsdale and Sharalee plus the Vanguard Singers directed by Noel Wilson. This is not a professionally produced video, but it captures some wonderful moments of music and memories that became the foundation for the 1998 Brentwood CD “Ralph Carmichael and Friends – Live.”
