Erste Woche mit Auri, unserem Lagotto Romagnolo-Welpen - Ein Welpe wird Rettungshund
The first few days in a new home are full of new experiences. People, animals, and places are explored together. I'll take you along on this journey. Quick notes: No, my puppy isn't locked in the puppy pen for hours on end. Auri is in the puppy pen for safekeeping in case I can't watch her for a few minutes. I'm a big believer in giving puppies a secure place from the start and otherwise keeping an eye on them 24/7. This way, I can quickly recognize signs of insecurity or "need to go potty" signals and respond accordingly. If that's not possible, the puppy is in the puppy pen for a short time. There, she can calm down, but also have a few crazy five minutes without destroying anything or overwhelming the older dog. Of course, in this video, I'll also show the highlights of our day. I won't show (or only briefly show) the many moments of peace and relaxation that are so incredibly important for a puppy. Puppies need 18-20 hours of rest a day. This should definitely be taken into account.
