Muslims in Moscow celebrated the holiday of Orozo Ait, the end of the holy month of Ramadan. The festive Eit prayer was held in several mosques, including the Cathedral Mosque on Prospekt Mira, where over 100,000 worshippers gathered. Additional venues were set up in the capital and New Moscow for the convenience of the participants, adjacent streets were closed to traffic, and volunteers helped people reach the mosques. The prayer took place in a calm and festive atmosphere. Before the prayer, a congratulatory message from Russian President Vladimir Putin was read out, acknowledging the contribution of Muslim organizations to strengthening the institution of the family. Law enforcement officers and volunteers provided security, and the worshippers were able to perform the congregational prayer in full compliance with tradition.
