A Complere Session on Crawling
Hi, I’m Dana and I have been a pediatric physical therapist for 25 years. You can read more about my practice at the top of my channel. I see kids for a lot of different disabilities including developmental delay, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, genetic disorders, dystrophies, and more. I cannot give individualized medical advice on social media and you need your doctors permission to try any exercises with your child. A therapist needs to be trained in order to perform these highly skilled exercises. I see kids for intensives in Cary, North Carolina for 1,2, or 3 weeks for 2 visits per day. We are able to show a lot of progress with our little patients and I share that to bring hope to other parents around the world. You can find booking information at the link at the top of my channel. The exercises I use are based on Cueves Medek Exercises. We give novel experiences to kids to work on neuroplasticity of the brain which allows us to improve gross motor skills. Questions about crawling? This is for you! ~ We don’t make you pay to get information that all parents should have! We have the knowledge and we want to share it with you so we can help more children around the world reach their gross motor goals! ~ This video takes you through weight bearing through the arms, using immobilizers to make it easier, addressing primitive reflexes, motor planning, and protective responses. ~ If you need immobilizers you can find them on the website medi-kid.com. At checkout enter AKAP25 for 25%off through the month of March. If you are out of the country you have to email them to order and give them the code AKAP25. The email address is [email protected] This is not an affiliate link as I do not get anything for sharing this. I just wanted you to get a discount. ~ I’d love for you to subscribe to this channel if you feel like this video is helpful. I hope you will also share as our whole purpose is to spread light and love through helping other parents and therapists as they help their kids reach their goals! ~ #physicaltherapy #baby #babydevelopment #toddlers #reflexes #disability #pediatrics #love #
