Daisy Bell - (Lyrics) AKA Daisy Daisy- Harry Dacre Arr P.M.Adamson

For a bit of a change I thought I would have a go at a Music hall song. This is by Harry Dacre from 1892 and to my surprise had verses. This song is sung so often with just the chorus and often as part of a Medley so here is the original song with my own orchestral arrangement of Flute,Strings,bassoon and Folk ensemble. At 0.40 seconds I couldn't help thinking that was Freddy Mercury's Grand Dad on the bike at the back which could have inspired Bicycle Race all those years later.(Apologies -couldn't resist yet again). Since the upload I had a boost recently on this channel with a sudden influx of listeners . Thankfully a couple of comments clued me in and it was sung (not my version) in the THE AMAZING DIGITAL CIRCUS Film also available on youtube which helped direct traffic my way. Although I didn't write the song I did use an original manuscript so my version, apart from the instrumentation is melodically and lyrically based on the original version.
