Hand Digging My Well In Water — Digging Deeper Under Pressure

After striking water at 37 ft, the challenge ramps up — we’re now digging in water. Every shovelful counts as we dig deeper to create enough water depth for the well screen and pump. With our DIY winch and 2:1 rope hoist, we’re dewatering as we go, fighting mud, gravel, and flowing water to reach the final depth. This is real hand-dug well work: persistence, problem-solving, and pushing through tough conditions to make progress.
