One of our Zenly members often says, "All the YouTubers in Tokyo sleep in the morning!" (Apparently, they can tell if you haven't touched your phone for a while), and it certainly seems like it's convenient for YouTubers to be night owls. There's no clear rule that filming and editing will finish at a certain time; it's common to just keep going until it's finished, so it's smarter to set aside time in the evening when you're less likely to have other plans!! But with six members of Tokai On Air, and a fair amount of outside filming, we have a rule to "meet at 8am" to coordinate everyone's daily routines and allow for more or less filming in one go. We praise ourselves for being able to talk at full energy from 8am, but when you think about it, students are at school at 8am every day. Isn't that amazing? Aren't they energetic in the morning? Don't they film their sub-channels and get switched on? With hours of extracurricular activities, lots of boring classes, and the nerve-wracking experience of talking to girls you like... every day is packed with events! I'm so jealous! Once we return to school and are able to film freely, we'll be able to shoot loads of videos every day. I wonder if a school will accept us for a week or so... Welcome to Tokai On Air's waiting room.
