How to Make Leather Armor for Figures / OOAK Doll Monster High Chest Armor Fantasy Medieval DIY

This is a (first version) small set of leather armor consisting of a chest piece and a shoulder pad. The DIY craft can be used for OOAK (one of a kind) dolls, figures, and other fantasy or medieval toys. The armor is made with responsibly sourced leather using the masking tape pattern technique and requires some sewing - although you can easily glue the parts if required. I used a Monster High doll as a reference. This is a fairly straightforward design that doesn't take too much time and can be complemented with other accessories (like fabrics and chainmail). The back has a snap button closure that makes it easier to wear and remove the armor. The armor is vaguely inspired by Greek hoplite armor and the character Fjord from the Dungeons & Dragons series Critical Role.
