The DSS is near the planet lending a slight boost to our liberation efforts, intense heat increases stamina drain and speeds weapon heat buildup, poor intel leaves objective locations hidden, and complex stratagem plotting increases call-in time by 50 percent. The Dog Breath and Gas Mortar Sentry stratagems are free for all divers, which helps when the whole planet feels like it wants us roasted. For this operation I brought the AR-2 Coyote and wore the I-44 Salamander armor, an inflammable set with 75 percent fire resistance. My stratagem loadout was the Eagle 500kg Bomb, LAS-99 Quasar Cannon, Lift-850 Jump Pack, and the A/MLS-4X Rocket Sentry. This was a five-star mission that had us trekking across lava, blowing up clankers, and clearing the mission and side objectives while yelling that the floor is lava like proper professionals. I used the terrain to my advantage and did not need a clone, though the rest of the squad used a few without getting close to running out. Extraction turned into a full last stand. Fresh clankers dropped in and pushed hard on the LZ, but we fought them back long enough to board the Pelican. One diver stayed so locked in mowing down bots from a cliff that he missed takeoff entirely, so three of us left while he kept fighting. We are still playing with DLSS 4.5 on preset K. This gameplay was recorded through a capture card onto a dedicated PC and played on the RTX 5090 with an i7-14700K in cinematic 4K using ultra settings shown at the beginning of every video.
