The DOUGLAS 12A self-powered line array from the Valencian manufacturer MUSICSON features a button with five presets to apply the appropriate equalization to each speaker depending on the required throw and the number of units installed. For example, preset 1 compensates for the attenuation of high frequencies due to air absorption and corrects the excessive bass boost that occurs when installing between 4 and 6 speakers. The DOUGLAS 12A also has a 90 Hz high-pass filter button, which is typically used when combined with subwoofers. However, in the video, the technician does not activate this HPF filter because he performs the crossover on the matrices of his Behringer X32 digital console. The MUSICSON KS-218DA powered subwoofer features two 18" cones fed by two independent amplification channels. It has five presets: two for setting the low-pass filter cutoff frequency when operating in OMNI mode (80 Hz, 100 Hz, or 120 Hz), and two for creating a cardioid gradient array in front-back or depth position.
