About a week after Ken-chan's care began, his mother experienced a terrible experience. We're currently living with three of them as a trial. This cage is small for three, but Ken-chan can't see at the moment. He's very sensitive to changes in his environment, so we can't move him to a new cage. If we clean too much, the smell changes suddenly, causing him to panic and wander around the cage, so we can only clean in moderation. If we clean too much at once, he'll have to use up all his energy making a new bed, and he'll end up so bedridden he can't even eat.
