Fire Emblem Awakening / Super Smash Bros. Ultimate OST Mash-Up - 'Destiny (Calm/Ablaze/Ultimate)'

Today you bear witness to a milestone for the Lad of the Lake: This is my very first 'real' audio editing project (everything prior didn't warrant enough effort/time) that I have uploaded. I consider this a culmination of all my other shitposts and gag videos, and even some of my serious editing hobby projects helped pave the way for this one. I tried this about a year ago when Smash was the hot game of the month (not that it isn't any less popular) but I hadn't the skills nor the know-how to properly sync all three tracks effectively. I combined 'Destiny' from Fire Emblem Awakening (both tactical and battle versions) with its Super Smash Bros. Ultimate reincarnation, panned in a 20L/20R/0 mix respectively. The original OST is accelerated by about 11.5%, while the remix is tuned down two steps to match the key while still keeping that upbeat and energetic tempo that is a nice contrast from the original. Various sections of the remix had to be accelerated and decelerated by fractions of a percent due to it constantly lagging behind and jutting ahead of the original. I am confident that these tracks are synced to the best of my fledgling ability as an audio engineer. I experimented with different sections to fade out and in, and decided instead of looping back to the 'B' section like the remix does, to follow the path of the original soundtrack and loop all the way back to the beginning while still utilizing the isolated e minor chord that both B transition and Intro loop transitions use, while still having only the remix play. The result is a natural-sounding loop back to the top while still keeping the flow and pulse of the remix's transition to the B section. Out of all my videos besides maybe my Ace Combat arrangement, I really hope this gains a bit of traction and I get the feedback I hope will be soon coming. Thanks for watching!
