Today we're continuing our Year 3 harvest season as we tackle one of the biggest fields on the entire farm an 800-acre Wheat field! After making the switch to swathing for our Wheat harvest and bringing in five MacDon M1240 swathers, five John Deere S780 combines, and five massive Elmers Haulmaster 3000 auger wagons, it's time to see if our new harvest setup can handle the workload. Things don't exactly go according to plan as we run into several issues with our unloading system and hired workers. To get things running smoothly again, we bring back the mother bin and completely rework our grain handling operation. We also make another major equipment change by replacing our fleet of Case Steiger tractors with five John Deere 9RX 830 tractors to handle the massive auger wagons.
