Representatives of pilot territorial communities of the Khmelnytskyi region came to the community to get acquainted with how the psychosocial support system works at the local level. Supporting mental health in the community is not just the work of one specialist or a separate office. It is the interaction between social services, doctors, educators, veteran spaces, rehabilitation centers and other institutions to which a person can turn for help. During the visit, the participants got acquainted with the work of the Center for Resilience, the veteran space, the center for providing social services, the rehabilitation center, the medical institution and other services operating in the Horodok community. Community representatives discussed how to make psychological assistance more accessible, how to properly build a route for redirecting people to the necessary specialists and how to strengthen the emotional resilience of residents. Special attention was paid to supporting veterans, military personnel, their families, people in difficult life circumstances, as well as the development of services that help the community be more resilient during war. The participants emphasized: mental health today is an important component of the community's resilience, its endurance and ability to support people in difficult times. The Center for Resilience has been operating in the Horodok community for three years. During this time, the space has become not only a room with the necessary conditions, but a place where people come for support, communication, consultations and the feeling that they are not alone with their problems. Such meetings are not a comparison of communities with each other, but an opportunity to see the strengths of each, adopt useful experience, share your own achievements and together build a system of assistance available to every resident. As part of the "How are you?" program, the community has already held meetings dedicated to self-help, self-care, support during the preparation of the NMT, professional burnout, communication with the military and other relevant topics.
