Road repair with aggregate near front

I used 2t of aggregate from the military 1t locally found gravel 1t locally found bricks I could hear small arms fire and bmps firing in multiple directions as well as tanks driving, none of it was loud enough to be picked up by the phone. All this is very normal but quite the experience for 10km off the front. Not a good sign.
