For our very first choreographed program showcase, we chose "Arms" by Christina Perri because of its beautiful melody and versatile rhythm. The song's structure offers so many great opportunities to show off different elements, with a blend of spins, jumps, and transitions that we tried to tie into music changes. The most exciting part is the steady build-up in the song, which leads to an amazing spread eagle towards the end of the program, fitting perfectly! It was our goal to capture the essence of the music and hopefully inspire skaters to try out some new choreography. Enjoy!
