He is the founder and General Overseer of Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, a Pentecostal Christian denomination. Dr. Olukoya's educational background is impressive, with a First Class Honors degree in Microbiology from the University of Lagos and a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Reading in the United Kingdom. He has published numerous Christian books and articles, over 200 in total, as well as 70 scientific papers. His scientific achievements are notable, including being the first Nigerian scientist to clone genes and the first person to achieve a first-class degree in Microbiology at the University of Lagos.
