The Claypool Lennon Delirium - The Great Parrot-Ox And The Golden Egg Of Empathy

In this video, I highlight the Claypool Lennon Delirium and their recently released third album, The Great Parrot-Ox And The Golden Egg Of Empathy. The Claypool Lennon Delirium is the collaberative pairing of two multi-instrumentalists, Les Claypool of Primus and Sean Ono Lennon. I had the wonderful opportunity to meet Sean at the NYC listening party for the John Lennon and Yoko Ono Power To The People box set released in October 2025. The Claypool Lennon Delirium's music is unorthodox, eccentric, electric, and often exhilarating. The latest album is pretty much what you'd expect from the Delirium musically, but the concept and the packaging is fresh and interesting. Casual fans may need to approach this with an open mind, but I'll be exploring all the intricacies of the album over the comming weeks, moths and years to come.
