With a $200 million investment in Bitlis, Eren Holding has established one of the largest privately-owned industrial production facilities in the Eastern Anatolia Region in the history of the Republic. The modern facility, with 215,000 square meters of open space and approximately 100,000 square meters of enclosed space, whose foundation was laid in 2021 in the Rahva area of ​​the Bitlis-Tatvan highway, is one of the largest industrial investments in the Eastern Anatolia Region. The Eren Textile Yarn Production Factory, which was inaugurated by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the "Public and Private Investments Mass Opening Ceremony" on August 25th, will produce 24,000 tons of yarn annually in its first two phases, and 36,000 tons when the third phase becomes operational in December next year. Established to increase domestic and national production, the factory will employ 1,100 people with a daily production of 100 tons and an annual production of 36,000 tons of polyester cotton and blended yarn. Eren Holding's second-largest investment in the textile sector, the factory, which employs a majority of women, will allocate approximately 50% of the yarn produced for export.
